Synopsis:
When fairytale princess is pushed into the real world of today by Susan Sarandon as the evil queen, a delightful tale follows. Sweet Giselle-played by Amy Adams emerges into modern day New York and brings her Fairytale attributes, attitudes and naiveté with her. A single dad and his daughter, played by Patrick Dempsey and Rachel Covey spot Giselle, recognize something’s not quite right and despite misgivings, offer help. Well, help is coming from the storybook world as well when Prince Edward-played by James Marsden-leaps in to save the day. This clash of enchantment and modern reality is a strangely compelling story, visually creative and replete with characters you come to really care about. This is a film the whole family will enjoy this Thanksgiving weekend. “Enchanted” opened on Wednesday and will be the big winner this week at the box office. I’m giving “Enchanted” 3 ½ stars and it is rated PG
