The driver of a yellow moving truck, that police originally thought was connected to Thursday's shooting at the L.D.S. Church Family History Library, says he wants the city to pay for damages to his truck.
Investigators blew a hole in the side of the vehicle Thursday because they thought it may have contained explosives. They discovered that it housed drums of gasoline, but was not a threat.
The truck's driver, Daniel Coben, had come here from Alaska to visit the Family History Library, but was not involved in Thursday's shooting.
Detectives returned the truck to Coben, and said he can file a claim with the city to address the cost of repairing the hole in the truck.
Coben reportedly wants $5,000 to repair the damages. The City Attorney has not heard from him.
