Day of Caring

Day of Caring (Sept. 9, 1999) is an annual event that offers about 2,000 volunteers the opportunity to do service projects at United Way Community Solution agencies.

Projects include landscaping, painting, visiting with the elderly, hosting children's fairs, and serving lunch to homeless families.

Pre-registered volunteers will work at over 60 service projects in Salt Lake, Tooele, and Summit Counties from approximately 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
