Professional Baseball Team
Moving To Provo

Dec. 5, 2000-- Minor League baseball is coming to Provo, and the team is in search of a name.

The Helena Brewers are planning to move their team to Utah County starting opening day of their 2001 season. The team will play its first season on the Larry H. Miller Field at Miller Park.

But before team practice starts, the Brewers will be called something else.

Team leaders are now holding a "Name the Team" contest with a grand prize trip for four to Anaheim, California.

Beginning Friday, December 8, you can find out how to enter the contest at this link:

*Note: This web link will be operational on Friday, Dec. 8th
It plans to include directions for getting an entry form, and instructions on where to submit your suggestion for team name and colors. You can also vote online at the link listed above. If more than one person submits the name ultimately chosen, there will be a random drawing to determine the Grand Prize winner.

The contest is sponsored by Provo/Springville McDonald's.
