April 7 delays
Salt Lake County:
Major work is planned for the freeway this weekend, March 23-26.
Here's what's closed Friday 10:00 pm to Monday 6:00 am:
I-15 northbound from 7200 South to 600 North
I-15 southbound from 900 West to 7200 South.
The 600 North southbound onramp will remain closed for five more weeks.
Crews need to install overhead signs and pour a bridge-deck.
After this weekend, crews hope to have all northbound lanes open south of 27th South.
All lanes on the freeway should be open by the middle of May and the rest of the freeway by the middle of July.
Here is a list of other planned closures on I-15,
Friday nights 10 pm to Monday mornings 6 am.

- April 27-30
- May 4-7
- May 11-14

Utah County
A minor freeway closure Friday night for motorists in Utah County:
I-15 northbound at the University Parkway exit (1200 South)
11:00 pm Friday to 5:00 am Saturday
Northbound traffic will be diverted across the on and off ramps during the closure, and delays should be minimal.
Construction crews will be removing concrete forms and other construction equipment from the center median of the freeway.
Also, as we reported earlier this week, parts of the University Parkway interchange are closed.

Speed Limit reduction to 30 mph
I-80 eastbound and westbound below Silver Creek Junction
Saturday 7:30 am to 10:00 am
Tooele County
SR-36 between I-80 and Mill's Junction
Canal pipe removal will begin on April 7. Crews will remove an old canal pipe from under the roadway beginning April 7. The pipe removal work will be during daylight hours and is in addition to the widening work already in progress.
Motorists should anticipate moderate to heavy delays during the removal project. This work is part of a large-scale widening project to increase SR-36 capacity to handle a growing Tooele County population.
