Start of school year, 40 opt-out students.
End of school year, 18 opt-out students.

    up 12%

Although the above indicates a positive trend in social and academic areas since uniforms were instituted at North Layton Jr. High, school administrators say "it would be impossible to clearly state that uniforms are the sole cause."
