This is a news release from the Salt Lake City School District.

Principal Joyce Gray conducted a preliminary investigation of the incidence, on November 1. This investigation included interviews of the teacher and students involved. Mrs. Gray has determined that her investigation is not complete.

Mrs. Gray is at home ill today, November 3. Upon her return to work at West High, she will continue to investigate the incident and take appropriate action. It is anticipated the investigation and resolution will be completed by Tuesday, November 7.
