(Washington-AP) -- The first of the tax refund checks will be in the mail next month.
But some Americans won't get them until the end of September.
It all depends on the last two digits of your Social Security number.
Those for whom that number is between 00 and 09, the checks will go out the week of July 23rd.
Those at the end -- with numbers between 90 and 99 -- won't see their checks until the end of September.
For married couples filing jointly, the first Social Security number on the return will be used.
Here's the schedule:
00-09: Week of July 23.
10-19: Week of July 30.
20-29: Week of Aug. 6.
30-39: Week of Aug. 13.
40-49: Week of Aug. 20.
50-59: Week of Aug. 27.
60-69: Week of Sept. 3.
70-79: Week of Sept. 10.
80-89: Week of Sept. 17.
90-99: Week of Sept. 24.
