If you're in the market for a new car
you may want to think twice about the color you choose.
In what purports to be a scientific survey,
a group of psychiatrists have analyzed car buyers and their color choices to see what your car's color may say about you.
They found drivers of black cars to be ambitious drivers who want to project an image of success.
According to the survey people who drive red cars are outgoing and impulsive with a youthful attitude,
but are easily bored.
Silver car owners generally have great style and are often successful,
but tend to be pompous.
People who drive white cars are generally reliable and methodical.
Drivers of gray cars express an understated good taste and are generally safe and cautious drivers.
And if you own a blue car it means you're a team player who is sociable and friendly,
but you lack imagination.
So which color sells best?
According to the survey, white cars lead the SUV/truck and the full- to intermediate-size car categories,
while silver is the top choice for sports and compact cars.
