Road Rage Tips & Links

(From Canadian Press, Daelnet.co.UK )

  • Never assume that an apparently aggressive act was intended.

  • If you're being hassled by another driver, try not to react. Avoid making eye contact.

  • Keep your doors locked and your windows and sunroof closed.

  • When stopped in traffic, leave enough space to pull out from behind the car you're following.

  • Pretend other drivers are people you know.

  • If you are being followed by another motorist, drive to a police station or crowded public place to get help.

  • If another driver approaches you, don't argue. Apologize if necessary.

  • Don't get out of your car if you're being rammed or blocked in.

  • Show courtesy to other drivers on the road.
