Go To Questions & Numbers
May 1, 2000

According to our new poll, a slight majority say they would vote for Mike Leavitt among the Republican candidates.
And when asked about candidates from all parties, Governor Leavitt still has a majority. But nearly a third said they would vote for Democrat Bill Orton. For details, see the questions and numbers, and check the link to tonight's Deseret News story, below.
(This poll was conducted by Dan Jones & Associates April 11-19, 2000. It includes responses from 1,219 registered Utah voters, and has a margin of error of +/-3.0%).
