The drive to sign up volunteers for the 2002 Winter Games begins Friday, March 10.
The Salt Lake Organizing Committee wants to
enlist the services of 20,000 volunteers for the Olympic
Winter Games on Feb. 8-24, 2002 and 6,000
volunteers for the Paralympic Winter Games on March
7-16, 2002.
Volunteers will be assigned to work in 30
different job areas, ranging from sports and translation
services to cultural programs and transportation.
