Interested in tickets for the 2002 Olympics?
Olympic organizers advise you register for ticket information now for the best chance to get them.
The best way to do that is on-line through the link above.
Seats for high demand events like the Opening Ceremonies, go on sale on the internet September 6.
It looks like the average Utahn will have a chance to buy more than 100,000 tickets.

Here's the breakdown:
Out of
1.6 million tickets total for the Games, more than half-- 870,000-- are reserved for sponsors, Olympic officials and diplomats.
730,000 will be available to the general public.
Out of those, Utah residents are guaranteed at least 160,000.
But for high-demand events like the Opening Ceremonies or Women's Figure Skating, you may need some luck or some connections to get in.
Just about 10% of those tickets will be available to Utahns.
