The Salt Lake Olympic Organizing Committee announced today it'll postpone the purchase of the Utah Winter Sports Park by 90 days.
President Mitt Romney says he needs the delay to sort out significant budget problems.
Romney wants to trim the budget in case SLOC cannot raise the final $300- million needed to fund the games.
Athletes, however, fear the delay will cost them valuable training time at the sports park.
