Salt Lake City students will stay in the classroom when the 2002 Olympics come to town.
The School Board voted 3 to 2 on the issue late last night.
School Board officials say they believe students will have a better Olympic experience if schools stay open.
Schools in the Granite and Jordan districts will also stay open.
Park City schools will close.
