(Los Angeles-AP) -- The CBS police drama "Without
a Trace" will be followed by a public service announcement
about missing Utah girl Elizabeth Smart after its November 21st
episode.
Smart, then 14, disappeared from her bedroom in Salt Lake City
on June 5th.
The case helped ignite nationwide news coverage of suspected
kidnappings throughout the summer.
CBS features an actual missing-person case in an announcement
after each episode of "Without a Trace."
The real missing person mentioned after each show is picked
by the FBI.
