In order to participate, you must meet low-income guidelines as established by the Department of Health and Human Services. If your child is disabled, the low-income requirement is waived.

Locally, you can contact Head Start at:

(801) 359-8749

You will need to fill out an application and provide:

  • Child's birth certificate (child must be 3 or 4 years old by Sept. 1, 1999)

  • Proof of income

  • Child's immunization records

For more information on the Head Start Program, visit the National Head Start Association web site or call the number listed above.
