S.L.C. Fireworks Ban Areas
Fireworks are prohibited in the following areas of Salt Lake City due to high temperatures, tall grasses in the foothills, and past year's growth:
- East of Foothill Drive
- East of Wasatch Drive
- North of North Campus Drive
- East of Virginia Street
- North of 11th Avenue
- City Creek Canyon
- North of 1700 North
- West of I-215
The ban is in effect July 1, 2000 until July 26, 2000.
