Prop. Five Opposition Rally
(10/14/98) Opponents of Proposition Five held a rally at the University of Utah today, trying to generate opposition on election day. The issue has generated more controversy than almost anything else on the ballot this year in Utah. If approved by voters, Proposition Five would require that any future ballot initiative involving wildlife would have to pass by a two-thirds margin, instead of a simple majority as provided by the state constitution. |
