Federal Crime
Cook wants to broaden the use of the death penalty for federal crimes, and build more federal prisons.

Eskelsen favors vocational and job related training for inmates and more community policing programs.

Abortion

Eskelsen says abortions should always be legally available.

Cook says only in cases of incest, rape or if the woman's life is endangered.

Taxes

Cook wants to replace the U.S. tax structure with a flat income tax, eliminate the I.R.S. and institute a national sales tax.
