There's passionate reaction to the murder conviction of a woman who admits she drowned her five children.
A Texas pro-death penalty group called Justice For All is praising the work of prosecutors who emphasized the loss of life. They repeatedly showing home videos of the Yates children and even displayed the clothes they died in.
But National Organization for Women spokeswoman Deborah Bell says Yates "was persecuted, not prosecuted."
Bell says the verdict shows the need for education and compassion about mental illness.
Some legal observers say they weren't surprised by the verdict.
But the American Civil Liberties Union says the tragic case "could be made even more horrific if Yates is given a death sentence."
