(Terre Haute, Indiana-AP) -- Media witnesses to the execution of Timothy McVeigh say the Oklahoma City bomber made eye contact with the witnesses, one at a time.
He also looked directly into a camera that was a hookup to Oklahoma City.
One of the family members watching in Oklahoma City says it appeared that McVeigh was "glaring" at them.
One reporter in Terre Haute, Linda Cavanaugh, said of McVeigh, "He had changed markedly. He did not have the same look of arrogance as he had in Denver" where he was tried.
She says the execution was an orchestrated and clinical procedure.
