How Colorful Is Your Diet?

Are you splashing your diet with plenty of color?

Thursday the Utah Department of Health issued a diet reminder. Adding plenty of colorful fruits and veggies to your meals may help you live a longer, healthier life.

Tomatoes, pink grapefruit, and watermelon are good cancer fighters, says the health department. Green veggies like spinach and broccoli help keep your eyes healthy.

April is Public Health Awareness Month in Utah. As part of the month-long drive, The Utah Health Department hopes more residents brighten up their plates with plenty of spring and summer fruits and vegetables.
