Download version 1.1:

Or download one of the previous versions.

Installation Notes

PowerPC users may need to download ObjectSupportLib if it isn't already installed in your Extensions Folder.

When StreamWorks for the Macintosh is run, it will open a "Stream status" window and there will be "File", "Edit", and "Streams" menus in the menubar.

Under the Streams menu item there is a list of pre-configured StreamWorks servers. Select one of these to see what they have to offer. If the server you chose is active, a new window will appear with a list of keywords. Selecting a keyword will show the files that match that keyword in the right side of the window. Select a file to listen to and hit the "Play" button, or double-click the title.

Choosing File:Open Location will bring up a dialog where you can specify a StreamWorks Server to listen to. You need to know the IP address of the server for this to be much use.

Choosing Streams:Edit Stream List... will bring up the list of known streams, similar to a Bookmarks list.

To use the Web interface, add the StreamWorks application as a Helper app in your web browser.

When reporting bugs, please include the following information: Macintosh type, client version, network type, connection speed, packet loss statistics, and any other relevant information.
