Salt Lake County wants to make registering as easy as possible. So they've set up a drive thru at the County Complex on 2100 South and State Street.
You don't need any identification, just show up until 4:00 this afternoon.
Salt Lake County Clerk Sherrie Swensen explains, "They don't even have to get out of their cars. They can just drive through at the County government center on 21st and State and we'll hand them a clipboard with a form on it and they'll fill it out. They'll be registered."
If you can't make it there, you can pick up a form at the post office or any Smith's or Fred Meyer Store, or the library. But the form must be filled out, mailed, and post marked by midnight.
If you don't make it, you have until October 30th to register, but you have to go into the County Clerk's office and sign up in person.
