Snowbird Ski & Summer Resort is the place for skiers and snowboarders to experience the latest technological advancements that are revolutionizing the sports.

The Little Cottonwood Canyon resort is offering two new programs targeting beginner skiers and riders as well as those who haven't tried the new equipment.

For those who have never been on the slopes, Snowbird offers a guaranteed Learn to Turn program that includes a ski or snowboard lesson, lift ticket, and rental equipment.

Snowbird is also offering a one-of-a-kind Return to Ski and Snowboard Program aimed at getting lapsed skiers and riders back on the slopes. Included is an all-day chairlift ticket, group lesson and snowboard or shaped ski demo. Because the latest developments in ski and snowboard technology have dramatically changed the way skis or boards are purchased and used, a lesson is the perfect way to get started off right.

"These programs were incredibly popular last winter because Return to Ski and Snowboard is a great way for people of all ages to get back on the hill with the latest equipment and helpful instructors," said Snowbird Mountain School Director Steve Bills.
