Official Rules
  1. Dates/Eligibility: The R.C. Willey "Breakfast in Bed" Days of ’47 KSL Parade Giveaway ("the Giveaway") begins, Monday, June 30, 2003 and ends with the final prize drawing on or about July 21, 2003. KSL may change the days and/or terms of the Giveaway without prior notice. Any material changes along with the official rules will be posted on KSL’s website located at www.ksl.com (the "Site"). The Giveaway is open to legal residents of Utah, 21 years of age and older at the time of entry. There is no purchase necessary to enter or win. A purchase will not increase a participant’s chance of winning. The Giveaway is void where prohibited by law. Employees or agents of KSL, Bonneville International Corporation, R.C. Willey, Subway, and Simmons or any entity associated with the sponsorship or conduct of the Giveaway (collectively, the Sponsors) or any other television or radio station that serves the Salt Lake City, Utah area, as well as members of the same household of any such employee or agent, are ineligible to participate.
  2. How to Enter. A participant can visit any one of the nine Utah R.C. Willey locations (see locations listed at "Site") anytime between Monday, June 30 and Saturday, July 19, 2003, and complete and submit an official entry form which includes name, address, telephone number and age, no later than noon, Monday, July 21, 2003. No photocopied or mechanically reproduced entries allowed. Limit one entry per household. All entries become sole property of KSL and will not be returned.
  3. Selection of Winner. On or about Monday, July 21, 2003, KSL will randomly select one winner from all qualified entries. The winner will be announced on Tuesday, July 22, 2003. KSL will attempt to notify the winner by telephone.
  4. Prize. One prize will be awarded. The winner of the Giveaway will receive a Simmons Mattress Set from R.C. Willey. The suggested retail price of the set is approximately $3,000.00. Prize may not be substituted, transferred or exchanged. Prize winner will be responsible for any taxes, fees, gratuities or other charges that result from the receipt and/or use of their prize. Winner and one guest will be invited to have "Breakfast in Bed" at a site located on the Days of ’47 KSL Parade route and will receive breakfast supplied by Subway. Retail value of breakfast will be approximately $50.00. Winner will be required to be at the Breakfast in Bed parade site from approximately 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM Friday, July 24, 2003, to view the parade. The prize winner will be required to complete an IRS Form W-9 and will receive an IRS Form 1099-Misc. Prize will be delivered to the winner by R.C. Willey within five business days of the parade.
  5. Conditions/Restrictions. In exchange for the right to enter the Giveaway, each participant agrees to release and indemnify the Sponsors, and their respective officers, directors, agents, parent companies, subsidiaries and employees, from any and all claims, demands and/or causes of action of any kind or nature whatsoever, whether known or unknown, foreseen or unforeseen, that arise out of the participant’s participation in the contest. Entry into the Giveaway constitutes permission for the Sponsors and/or their respective designees to use the participant’s name, likeness, portrait, voice and/or biographical material for an unlimited period of time in order to advertise, promote or publicize the Sponsors and/or the products and services of any of their designees. As a condition of receiving their prize, winner will be required to produce identification satisfactory to KSL and sign an affidavit of eligibility and release (including a publicity released) as prepared by KSL. If KSL is unable to contact prize winner using the telephone number supplied during the entry process, the prize winner may be disqualified and an alternate winner may be selected. Anyone using fraudulent means to participate in and/or win the contest will be subject to disqualification.
  6. Rules. Copies of these rules are free and available at the Site, at KSL’s studios, Broadcast House, 55 North 300 West, Salt Lake City, UT 84110 during regular business hours, or by sending a request along with a self-addressed stamped envelope, to KSL at this address.
