Today figures to be a busy day for UPS.
The delivery service is expecting to hit its business peak today, delivering some 18 million packages for midnight.
A company spokeswoman says the rise in E-commerce has increased the delivery load on the company.
During the past three weeks, UPS estimates it delivered 300 million packages worldwide.
The company normally adds about 60,000 seasonal workers each year to help make sure all gifts are under the tree come Christmas morning.
