Terry Wood joined KSL Television as a news anchor in April 2000. He appears each weekday morning between 5:30 AM and 7:00 AM on "Eyewitness News Today" and is also seen in local news cut-ins between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM during NBC's "The Today Show."

Terry first appeared as a Utah news anchor in 1971, moving here from Lubbock, Texas, where he had been a television reporter. In Salt Lake City, he quickly established himself as a major talent. Terry's popularity led to prestigious anchoring jobs in New Orleans and Atlanta. His love of Utah, however, eventually led him to return.

A man of many talents, Terry has acted in television and motion pictures, including appearances on "Touched By An Angel." He has appeared in and done voiceover work for many industrial videos and CD-ROMs. He has also enthusiastically completed more than a thousand public appearances and speaking engagements.

Terry has served as President of the Easter Seals Society of Utah, Tree Utah, and the Dance Theater Coalition, as well as serving on the Board of Trustees for Mesa Foundation and the National Board of Directors for Easter Seals.
