Keith McCord began working for KSL 5 Television as an anchor in February 1981. He is currently an anchor on the weekend edition of the Eyewitness News. Keith also works as a reporter for Channel 5's Eyewitness News at Noon, 6:00, 6:30 and 10.
Keith has been involved in broadcasting since 1975 when he graduated from Long Beach City College with an associates degree in telecommunications. His career began in radio as a disc jockey, announcer and director in Colorado and Wyoming. In 1978, he became a television news anchor.
Keith was honored
by Associated Press as Colorado Newsman of the Year in 1977, while working
in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and was named Best News Program Host in
1980. He has also served as vice president and president of the Colorado
Associated Press Broadcasters' Association.
